6 steps to

covering uneven skin

Uneven skin is a challenge that most women face at some stage in their lives. Instead of applying a mask of heavy-looking make-up, use these simple tips to create a fresh and flawless look.

step one

prepare the skin

Apply two or three pumps of Under Wear primer to clean, moisturised skin. Begin at the forehead and work down the bridge of the nose, spreading outwards as you go. Pay particular attention to those areas that can be more challenging to apply foundation to – around the corners of the nose or over open pores. Massage the primer into the skin until it is completely absorbed and the skin feels silky to the touch.

step two

choose a foundation

Pick a shade of Time Frame foundation that matches the skin tone along the jawline. This will ensure that there is no unsightly ‘tide mark’ where the foundation blends into the neck.

step three

applying foundation

Using the Foundation Kabuki brush, apply Time Frame foundation to the face, starting with the cheeks and forehead, finishing with the tip of the chin and finally the nose. Use the brush to buff and blend the foundation in short strokes. It should almost disappear at the jawline. We are looking to create an overall, even-toned base. We will deal with coverage in the next step.

step four

concealing blemishes

Next, use Farewell Cream Concealer in a shade that is closest to your foundation. Apply directly to any areas that need more coverage and blend with your ring finger. For a more precise application, try using the Lip Brush. Remember, it is better to use just a little concealer where you need it, than to apply too much make up where you don’t.
