Our Commitment
At delilah, we believe that justice, equity, diversity and inclusion strengthen our business, encourage innovation and help create a respectful environment for employees, customers, suppliers and the wider community.
Our Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Action Plan (2026–2028) sets out our commitment to continually improving our policies, practices and governance in support of these principles.
This annual update summarises the progress made during the 2025–2026 reporting period.
Progress During 2026
During the reporting period, delilah completed a number of important initiatives to strengthen its approach to Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion.
Governance
- Adopted a formal Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Policy approved by the Board of Directors.
- Established annual Board oversight of JEDI objectives and performance.
Recruitment
- Introduced an Inclusive Recruitment & Hiring Procedure.
- Strengthened recruitment processes by promoting fair, objective and inclusive hiring practices.
- Committed to reviewing recruitment materials to support inclusive language and reduce unnecessary barriers to employment.
Policy Review
- Completed a review of key Company policies through a Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion perspective.
- Updated policies where appropriate to strengthen inclusive language, accessibility and fairness.
Workplace Communication
- Developed an Inclusive Language Guide for Internal Communications.
- Introduced guidance to support respectful, inclusive and professional communication across the business.
Governance Review
- Completed the Company's first internal Equity Audit to review employment practices, workplace culture and governance arrangements relating to Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion.
- Identified opportunities for continual improvement and incorporated these into the Company's ongoing governance programme.
Priorities for 2027
During the next review period, delilah intends to:
- Continue annual reviews of Company policies through a JEDI perspective.
- Monitor recruitment practices and identify opportunities to improve accessibility and inclusion.
- Continue Board oversight of JEDI objectives.
- Review employee feedback and workplace practices as part of continual improvement.
- Continue to develop inclusive communications across the business.
- Review opportunities to strengthen supplier and stakeholder engagement in support of JEDI principles.
Continuous Improvement
delilah recognises that Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion require ongoing commitment rather than one-off initiatives.
The Company will continue to review its progress annually and publish future updates summarising actions taken, improvements achieved and priorities for the coming year.
