Human Rights Policy Statement
At delilah cosmetics limited, we believe that all people should be treated with dignity, fairness and respect. We are committed to conducting our business ethically and responsibly and to respecting internationally recognised human rights throughout our operations, business relationships and supply chain.
Our commitment extends to our employees, contractors, suppliers, customers and all individuals who may be affected by our business activities.
This policy forms part of our broader commitment to responsible business practices and continuous improvement as a certified B Corporation.
Our Commitment
delilah is committed to respecting human rights in accordance with the following internationally recognised standards:
- The United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).
- The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
- The International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
We expect our own operations and those of our suppliers and business partners to reflect these principles.
Our Principles
To support this commitment, delilah will:
- Treat all employees and workers fairly, with dignity and respect.
- Provide a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, bullying and victimisation.
- Promote equal opportunities in recruitment, development and employment.
- Support safe and healthy working conditions for all employees.
- Respect freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining where permitted by law.
- Oppose all forms of forced labour, modern slavery, human trafficking and child labour.
- Comply with all applicable employment, health and safety, and labour legislation in the countries in which we operate.
- Encourage suppliers and manufacturing partners to maintain responsible labour practices and comply with applicable legal and ethical standards.
- Promote an inclusive working environment where diversity is valued and everyone is treated fairly.
Supply Chain
We recognise that our responsibility extends beyond our own business operations.
When selecting and working with suppliers, manufacturers and other business partners, delilah seeks to work with organisations that share our commitment to ethical business conduct, respect for human rights and responsible employment practices.
Where concerns are identified, we will engage constructively with suppliers to understand the issue and encourage appropriate corrective action.
Raising Concerns
Employees, contractors and other stakeholders are encouraged to raise concerns relating to potential human rights issues without fear of retaliation.
Concerns may be raised directly with the Directors, who will investigate matters appropriately and take action where required.
Governance and Review
The Directors are responsible for overseeing this policy and reviewing it annually, or sooner if required by changes in legislation, business operations or recognised best practice.
This policy is publicly available on the delilah website as part of our commitment to transparency and responsible business practices.
