HOW TO CLEAN & MAINTAIN YOUR MAKE-UP BRUSHES
We’re not going to pretend it’s the most enjoyable task, but cleaning your make-up brushes regularly is essential for hygiene, its good to get into a habit of cleaning them every couple of weeks or so, otherwise oil, bacteria and dust can build-up between the bristles and can be transferred onto your skin when you apply your make-up. It is a little time-consuming, but with huge benefits, your make-up will be quicker and easier to apply, it will help your make-up stay on for longer and even help keep your skin blemish free.
The fastest way to clean your brushes of bacteria and make-up is to use an alcohol-based formula. For a quick clean, spritz the cleaner into the bristles of the brush and buff onto a dry tissue, repeat this process until the brush is clean. For a deeper cleanse, let your brushes stand in a cleaning solution for 15 mins, be careful to submerge the fibres only as all our brush handles are FSC, sustainable wood and if submerged the structure will be damaged.You may also like
